Nedavno sam imao prilike posjetiti Veneciju i od garaze na Tronchettu do trga Piazzale Roma provozati se novim People Moverom proizvodjaca Doppelmayra. Ova 'horizontalna uspinjaca' otvorena je 19. 4. 2010; sluzbeni naziv sustava je Tronchetto - Piazzale Roma Shutle. Trasa je duga 870 metara, ima osim pocetne i zavrsne jos jednu stanicu na kojoj se vozila vucena celicnim uzetom mimoilaze. Klasican princip uspinjace, iako je polozaj citavog sustava horizontalan.

Karta cijene 1 euro, nije integrirana, pa se za taj novac niti metar nemozete voziti vaporettom, sto i nije dobro.

Smjestamo se na pocetak prvog modula. Moduli, usput, nisu povezani prolazima!
